KZNA Cross Country Final Team-B
Dear Athletes, Parents, Coaches and KZNA Members,
KwaZulu-Natal Athletics extends its heartfelt congratulations to all athletes selected to represent the province at the 2026 ASA National Cross Country Championships. Selection to the KZNA team is a significant achievement and reflects the dedication, discipline, perseverance and outstanding performances demonstrated throughout the season. We are proud of each athlete and wish them every success as they prepare to compete against the best cross-country runners in South Africa.
The 2026 ASA National Cross Country Championships will take place at Curro Hazeldean High School, Pretoria, on Saturday, 05 September 2026. KZNA would like to remind all selected athletes, coaches and team management that selection letters have been issued by the KZNA Office. Athletes are requested to ensure that all required documentation, including the forms and information outlined in the selection letter, is submitted by the stipulated deadlines. The timely submission of these documents is essential to facilitate team administration and final preparations for the championships.
As part of KZNA’s ongoing commitment to recognising excellence and rewarding the hard work of our athletes, we are pleased to confirm that performance incentives will once again be awarded to athletes who achieve podium finishes at the National Championships.
These incentives serve as recognition of exceptional performances and demonstrate KZNA’s commitment to supporting and motivating athletes as they strive for success on the national stage.

In addition, teams achieving podium finishes at the Championships will also be recognised and rewarded in accordance with KZNA’s incentive programme.
Once again, congratulations on your selection. We thank our athletes, coaches, clubs and families for their continued commitment to cross-country running in KwaZulu-Natal. We look forward to seeing our provincial team compete with pride, determination and sportsmanship, and we wish every athlete the very best for the championships.
