KZNA CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026

KwaZulu-Natal Athletics proudly presents the KZNA Cross Country Championships 2026, hosted by Richards Bay Athletic Club, taking place on Saturday, 01 August 2026 at Grantleigh School, Richards Bay, King Cetshwayo District.
This provincial championship will bring together athletes from across KwaZulu-Natal to compete for provincial titles in a full programme of events ranging from Under-8 to Masters (90+) age categories. The championships will showcase the province’s top cross-country talent in a professionally organised event conducted in accordance with Athletics South Africa and World Athletics competition rules.
ENTRY FEES AND CLOSING DATES
Phase 1:
- Entry Fee: R40 per athlete, per event
- Closing Date: Monday, 27 July 2026 @ 16h00
Phase 2 – Late Entries:
- Late Entry Fee: R80 per athlete, per event
- Closing Date: Tuesday, 28 July 2026 @ 16h00
Phase 3 – Final Late Entries:
- Final Late Entry Fee: R120 per athlete, per event
- Closing Date: Wednesday, 29 July 2026 @ 16h00.
Spectator fee: R50 per person (payable on the day. No Cash, only card payments will be accepted)
Parking: Free (outside the school)
Only Team Managers/Club Captains/ Representatives will be allowed to collect Club registration packs. Clubs will have to have a workable method for the collection of competition numbers and wristbands for individual athletes
There is no restriction on the number of athletes a club can enter per age group.
