The KwaZulu-Natal Athletics Half Marathon Championship will form part of the Peace in Africa event with Discovery Vitality, and hosted by Mayibuye Athletics Club.
This championship offers a premier platform for athletes to demonstrate their endurance and competitive spirit over the half marathon distance. The event is set to provide a structured environment that recognises both provincial talent and national promise, while fostering excellence and camaraderie within the athletics community.
The 21.1km race will serve as the official selection event for the KwaZulu-Natal team, which will represent the province at the ASA Half Marathon Championships in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), Eastern Cape, on Saturday, 27 June 2026.
