Dear Clubs, Athletes and Members,
The countdown is officially on! We are excited to remind the athletics community that the inaugural KZNA Trail & Mountain Running Championships will take place on 24 October 2026 as part of the WESSA Ultra Trail Festival. This historic event marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for trail and mountain running in our province.
With less than a month to go, we encourage all interested athletes to start preparing for this landmark championship and to familiarise themselves with the competition requirements.

Athletes, coaches and clubs are encouraged to read these documents carefully to ensure they understand the championship categories, eligibility requirements, selection process and competition regulations.
KZNA is thrilled to launch this championship and looks forward to welcoming trail and mountain runners from across the province to what promises to be an outstanding event. Let the countdown begin as we celebrate the growth of this exciting discipline and work together to build a strong future for trail and mountain running in KwaZulu-Natal.
