KZNA Provincial Race Walking Championship & Inter-Club Challenge
We are excited to announce the upcoming KZNA Provincial 21.1km Race Walking Championship and Inter-Club Race Walking Challenge, taking place on Saturday, 29 November 2025 at Kings Park Athletics Stadium, Durban. See competition manual attached.
Event Details;

- Date: Saturday, 29 November 2025
- Venue: Kings Park Athletics Stadium, Masabalala Yengwa Avenue, Durban
- Events: 21.1km, 10km, and 5km race walks for various age groups.
Age Groups;
-
- Senior Men & Women: 20–34 years (Born 2005–1991)
- Juniors: 18 & 19 years (Born 2006–2007)
- Youth: 16 & 17 years (Born 2008–2009)
- Masters: 35 years and older (Born 1990 and earlier).

- Entries Open: Monday, 24 November 2025
- Entries Close: Thursday, 27 November 2025 (after 16h00 = late entry; late entries accepted until Friday, 28 November 2025, 12:00 pm)
- Entry Fee: R90 per event

- Note: No entries or cash will be accepted on the day.
Programme Highlights;

- 04:00–05:45: Collection of race numbers & registration (Boardroom)
- 04:30–04:45: Team Managers Meeting
- 05:00: Start of 21.1km event
- 06:00: Start of 5km & 10km events
- 11:00: Medal Presentation.
Prizes;

- 21.1km Open: 1st R1,000 | 2nd R750 | 3rd R500
- Youth 5km: 1st R300 | 2nd R200 | 3rd R100
- Junior/Youth 10km: 1st R500 | 2nd R350 | 3rd R200
- Masters 10km (35+): R150 for category winners.
IMPORTANT NOTES

- Athletes must be club members in good standing and licensed with a permanent license number.
- Club kit is required for competition.
- Proof of age (ID, birth certificate, or passport) must be submitted for verification.
- No seconding allowed except by authorized officials.
- Water and refreshments will be provided at designated stations.
- Results will be published on the KZNA Race Walk WhatsApp group after approval.
